Introduction of POS Machine w.e.f. 15 August 2023:
As part of the ‘Digital India’ initiative of Government of India, Consulate General of India, Guangzhou is glad to announce that the POS machine has been installed at the Consulate for accepting digital payments for consular services, fulfilling the long pending demand of the Indian community to make this service available.
2. The service of digital payment through POS machine was introduced at the Consulate premises on 15 August 2023 through an inauguration by Consul General Shri Shambhu Hakki as part of the 77th Independence Day of India and the 2nd year culminating Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav.
