As part of “Pathshala Series”, Consulate General of India, Guangzhou is organising a workshop ‘Sur Sangam- An Introduction to Hindustani Music & Hindi Laghu Sangeet, including Bhajans’ . The Workshop is supported by Indigo Airlines and Parma Eco Valley.
The details of the Workshop are as follows:
Date: 18 November 2023 (Saturday)
Time: 1100-1400 hrs
Venue: Consulate General of India, Guangzhou, 14th floor, HNA Tower No.8, Linhe Zhong Road, Tianhe District.
The Workshop will be conducted by two esteemed artists from India- Dr Jaideb Mukharjee and Mrs Schuchismita Mukherjee.
Dr Jaideb Mukharjee is a highly accomplished Vocalist and Tabla Expert. He will be joined by Mrs Schuchismita Mukherjee who is a versatile musician proficient in Harmonium and various genres of Indian Classical Music such as semi-classical, devotional and light music.
We are delighted to inform you that this is a 2nd Workshop as part of the ‘Pathshala’ series- a unique initiative by Consulate General of India, Guangzhou to promote aspects of Indian culture and languages.
The workshop is being offered FREE of Cost. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student of Indian Classical Music, or simply a music enthusiast, this workshop will provide you an enriching experience.
