We are delighted to announce that as part of its Pathshala Series to promote aspects of Indian Culture in South China, Consulate General of India, Guangzhou is organising a FREE Workshop on ‘Introduction to Garba of Gujarat’ to commemorate its inclusion in UNESCO’s Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.
The details of the workshop are as follows~
Date: 9 December 2023 (Saturday)
Time: 5-6 PM
Venue: Consulate General of India, Guangzhou
2.The Workshop will be conducted by Garba performers.
3.The Workshop will provide the participants a unique opportunity to immerse in the rich cultural heritage of India and explore the vibrant dance form of Garba, a traditional dance form originating from the state of Gujarat in India. The participants will get to learn basic and advanced dance steps as well as some tips & tricks to embrace the joyous spirit of Garba.
4. The invitation is open to all nationalities and age groups.
5. Since the workshop is being offered Free of Cost on first-cum, first-serve basis, we request you to please register at the QR code given in the Flyer to reserve your spot by 8 December (6 pm).
