Ambassador, Shri Vikram Misri inaugurated the India Store, an initiative of the Consulate General of India, Guangzhou to promote Indian products in China. Samples of Indian products in leather, food & beverages, handicrafts, textiles, Ayurveda categories have been exhibited at the India Store.
During the event, Ambassador sir addressed a gathering of more than 40 Indian business leaders based in Guangdong and encouraged them to promote Indian products. Consul General, Shri Shambhu Hakki delivered the welcome address.
The representatives of Indian businesses took part in a panel discussion, moderated by Consul General regarding the issues related to importing of Indian products and ways to further promote the exports from India.
