Consulate General of India, Guangzhou celebrated 75th Republic Day of India with great enthusiasm. The event was attended by over 100 members from Indian community and friends of India.
Consul General Shri Shambhu Hakki unfurled the tricolour which was followed by singing of the National Anthem. He also read out the Address by the Hon’ble President of India on the eve of Republic Day & addressed the gathering.
Local Chinese and Indian artists, including children, presented a bouquet of cultural performances, showcasing classical and patriotic dances as well as singing.
The event concluded with felicitation of cultural performers by CG Shri Shambhu Hakki and Mrs Suma Hakki followed by a group photo.
