With regard to the Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children (SPDC) introduced from the academic year 2006-07 with a view to make higher education in Indian Universities/Institutions accessible to diaspora children and promote India as a centre for higher studies, the Government of India has announced 150 slots for Scholarship for Diaspora Children under SPDC scheme for the academic year 2018-19. The last date for online registration which was September 30, 2018 has now been extended till October 15, 2018 to enable the candidates who couldn’t apply earlier for the scholarship.
All members of Indian Community are requested to give wide publicity to this information for maximum participation.
