Know India Programme (KIP)

The Government of India is organizing “Know India Programmes” (KIPs) for the Indian youth diaspora (excluding nonresident Indians) in the age group of 18-30. The programmes will connect them with their motherland and give them an exposure about the various aspects of contemporary India’s Art, Culture and heritage etc. The KIP is 25 days programme including 10 days tour to one or two partner State.

2. The schedule for the 54th, 55th and 56th KIPs to be organized in financial year 2019 - 20 is as under:

3. Detailed guidelines on eligibility/selection criteria, assistance provided and Role /responsibilities etc are available at the link: https://kip.gov.in/home/guidelines .

4. The applications can be submitted online (http://www.kip.gov.in) for the three KIPs to be held in 2019 i.e. 54th, 55th & 56th. After filling the online applications, kindly also send the details to Email: hoc.guangzhou@mea.gov.in .

5. Please note that “application will not be considered for these KIPs, if the applicant had already visited India under any of the scheme funded by the Government of India”.
