Consulate General of India in Guangzhou hosted a reception on 26 January to mark the 69th Republic Day of India in Westin Hotel. The high-level dignitaries included Vice-Governor of Guangdong Province HE Mr. Huang Ningsheng who graced the occasion as Chief Guest, HE Diao Ailin Deputy Secretary General of Guangzhou Municipality Government, Senior officials of Guangdong, and Guangzhou Foreign Affairs Offices, Chairman and Senior officials of CCPITs, Department of Commerce, Culture, Tourism Boards along with several other high-level dignitaries from the seven provinces under the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of India and more than 50 Consul Generals and their representatives. In total, more than 450 people from all walks of life attended the reception.
