Consulate General of India in Guangzhou and India Tourism, Beijing organized a “Know India Tourism Seminar” in Guangzhou on 24th February, 2016. The seminar was attended by senior officials from Guangzhou Tourism Bureau. Guangdong Tourism Administration, representatives of media organizations, business houses, over 160 travel agents from all over China, representatives of airlines such as Air India, Jet Airways and China Southern and representatives of leading Indian travel agencies. The seminar provided information to the participants on India’s rich history, culture, civilization, wonderful touristic destinations, Buddhist circuit, health and wellness tourism, eTourist Visa scheme, simplification of visa procedures among other topics.
