The Consulate General of India in Guangzhou in cooperation with Guangzhou Hegenberg Trading Ltd, Poly Commercial Real Estate Investment & Management Ltd, Guangzhou Isachan Culture & Event Planning Ltd and the Art route of India, organized a painting exhibition of Modern India titled “Modern India: Color, Pattern and Life” starting from 21st to 26th November, 2016 at the Poly Central Plaza, Guangzhou.
The exhibition showcased painting works of modern Indian artists besides the paiting CGI also organized Indian Yoga Guru who demonstrated various postures of Hatha Yoga. Ms.Li Yuqing, music teacher and performer of Guzheng, a Chinese musical instrument, also presented a piece during the inauguration ceremony. The exhibition also provided an avenue to display various interesting aspects of India such as cuisines of India and handicraft items sourced from different parts of India.
