In our efforts to promote India as an attractive destination, Consulate organized a Know India Tourism Seminar in Shangri la Hotel, Shenzhen on 8th December, 2016. The seminar was attended by senior officials of Shenzhen Culture, Sports and tourism Bureau and Shenzhen Foreign Affairs office, over 160 travel agents and representatives of leading Indian travel agencies and jet airways.
Consulate’s efforts of promoting India have resulted in increased of Chinese visitors to India by many folds during the calendar year. There has been over all increased of 51.77% in the total number of visa issued with business visa jumping by 66.13% and tourist visa by 42.9% as compared to 2015.
